Our founder, Josh McShanag, has been in the civil industry for over 17 years. At 19, he was trained by ERG Connect in Darwin as a copper cable jointer and pit and pipe installer and has been in the industry ever since. At 22, he was contracted to ABB for two years, before conducting maintenance work for Telstra. He then gained valuable drilling knowledge at a highly regarded directional drilling company, before returning home to Darwin and starting JSM Civils in 2012.
